About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the rigorous application of standards and methodologies
  • Analyze safety, quality, stoppages and material losses
  • Create strategies and priorities for the lines to deliver the drivers for the OMP in all key areas
  • Support Production Supervisor on the capabilities and succession plan for operator and line leads
  • Lead improvement projects – OSL – Operations Start-Up Lead for capital investments
  • Achieve a "zero injury, defect, waste" mindset & promote behaviours that have a positive impact on Safety Health Environment & Quality

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field
  • MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3+ years previous experience in a leadership role, ideally, in a food/pharma industry
  • Minimum 3+ years Project management experience
  • Strong initiative and drive for continuous improvement with a natural coaching & development style
  • Experience using Continuous Improvement methodologies (GSTD, DMAIC, PDCA)
  • Strong leadership capability and operational management experience
  • Ideally, you will have experience with TPM implementation.
  • Knowledge of SAP and DMO
