About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain and manage inventories in parts rooms
  • Check stock levels of self-service parts and replenish as necessary
  • Generate purchase orders from CMMS and order parts to replenish controlled inventory
  • Conduct quarterly cycle counts in parts rooms
  • Organize parts room and enter new parts into CMMS
  • Label bins / shelves as necessary
  • Source and purchase equipment and spare parts for the Maintenance, Engineering and Pilot Plant teams
  • Create purchase requisitions for entry into SAP as necessary
  • Review work requests entered into the CMMS and convert them to work orders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma (or GED)
  • Good computer skills with proficiency using the software in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent grammar and spelling skills
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • 2+ years’ experience in an administrative or procurement role preferred
  • Previous experience working in the field of facility maintenance SAP preferred
