About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • responsible for the implementation and execution of the factory asset maintenance programme
  • eliminate unplanned stops and optimise maintenance cost
  • repair, report and analyze unplanned technical failures
  • execute planned and scheduled maintenance to prevent unplanned technical failures
  • provide technical expertise to reduce both technical and production losses
  • coach and/or participate in problem solving
  • implement solutions and share knowledge
  • provide input for annual maintenance budget
  • report and track maintenance work order costs
  • support production to eliminate quality defects and safety risks
  • lead and participate in breakdown analysis
  • actively participate in maintenance routines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • NVQ Level 3 and National Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • time served apprenticeship
  • Dual trained (mechanical and electrical) with proven experience in manufacturing
  • Food industry experience preferable
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
  • Experience in Installation and inspection and Testing e.g minor works training or City and Guilds
