About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely completion of batch production records
  • Supervise production employees, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed effectively and staffing positions are appropriately covered
  • Proactively identify and communicate equipment, material, or production issues to management
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by educating and guiding employees on the proper use of equipment, resources, and established control procedures
  • Support compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Address employee concerns and performance issues by gathering information, investigating root causes, and implementing appropriate solutions
  • Contribute to the development, review, and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensure team members are properly trained and consistently following them
  • Ensure manufacturing and packaging operations comply with all food safety, quality, and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements, as well as HACCP, NSF, and SQF standards
  • Maintain expertise in GMP requirements and ensure all production personnel adhere to established processes and procedures
  • Foster a collaborative, productive, and team-oriented work environment while supporting departmental goals and objectives
  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment is required
  • Strong understanding of quality, food safety, and workplace safety standards
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material flow processes
  • Highly organized with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to lift and move 15–20 pound boxes on a regular basis
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including occasional weekends, as business needs require
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Vietnamese is required to effectively support and communicate with a diverse production workforce.
