About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Shape the factory's vision, objectives and long-term ambitions alongside the leadership team.
Develop leadership capability and accountability across all functions.
Drive cultural and organisational change that strengthens ownership of SHE throughout the business.
Identify future risks, opportunities and priorities that support sustainable performance improvement.
Build engagement and commitment across employees, contractors and stakeholders.
Lead and develop a team of SHE professionals and help grow the next generation of SHE talent.
Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders across the factory.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing, processing or operational environment.
The ability to build alignment and commitment across multiple stakeholders.
Experience leading change, shifting culture and embedding new ways of working.
The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.
A track record of coaching and developing individuals and teams.
A sound understanding of Safety, Health and Environmental management systems and legal compliance.
NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential for candidates who can demonstrate exceptional leadership, influence and change management capability within a manufacturing environment.
