About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide specialist advice to line managers regarding the management of Health, Safety and Environment in the Factory.
- Be the expert in safety, health, and environmental sustainability for Dalston Factory.
- Identify SHE priorities, both current & future, and develop site SHE programmes to deliver compliance and performance improvement.
- Ensure the local health, safety and environmental management system is certified to ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 standards.
- Provide training and coaching to managers and team leaders.
- Ensure total site SHE compliance via regular auditing and tracking.
- Engage with external stakeholders on SHE topics to build long-term relationships.
Requirements
What you’ll need- NEBOSH Health and Safety Diploma or equivalent - Essential
- Ideally educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a technical subject area - Preferred
- Previous SHE experience within FMCG/ Food Manufacturing - Preferred
- Detailed knowledge of the requirements of ISO45001 and ISO14001.
- Experience leading internal audits and liaising with external regulatory bodies.
- Passion for SHE and continuous improvement.
- Experience taking ownership of SHE and supporting change through personal leadership.
- Translated policies & standards into practical action plans.
