Key responsibilities & impact

Guide QA activities on the production floor to ensure product safety and compliance
Support inspections, documentation, and team training
Help resolve issues in real-time
Coordinate QA technician activities and lead the department when needed
Perform in-process testing, AQL inspections, and batch record reviews
Submit samples for analytical and microbiological testing
Approve pre-start checks and release work orders
Conduct daily audits to ensure compliance
Support training on GMPs and SOPs
Communicate with teams to resolve errors and maintain standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
3–5 years of experience in manufacturing quality assurance
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift
Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
Flexible to work overtime based on business needs
Comfortable using computers, tablets, and MS Office programs
Experience with systems like SAP, Oracle, AS400, PQM, or Captiva preferred
Strong attention to detail and organization
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
