About the role
- Ensure safe reliable and efficient operation and maintenance of the industrial services equipment
- Oversee hot water generation and distribution
- Manage refrigeration and chilled water generation and distribution
- Ensure potable and process water treatment, supply and distribution
- Oversee compressed air generation and distribution
- Manage AHU & HVAC systems
- Lead facilities mechanics and building services while coordinating closely with other departments
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and internal requirements
- Drive resource conservation and awareness within the facility
- Participate in continuous improvement and execution of capital and operational projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process Engineering or related field is required
- At least 5 years of engineering experience with at least 3 years spent in Industrial Services/Facilities Management
- At least 2 years of direct or indirect supervisory experience in management operational and maintenance teams
- Good organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Competent IS systems knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills to be able to work in a collaborative team environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
- SAP knowledge desirable
- Knowledge on applicable regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, ASME, ANSI, PSM/RMP and industry best practices)
