About the role

  • Provide technical leadership by identifying, developing and executing projects for the factory
  • Direct and execute installation, construction, and commissioning of assigned projects
  • Drive continuous improvement and productivity savings projects
  • Analyze given data and operating conditions; define the road map of improvements needed; implement changes and follow-up on results by involving key responsible people
  • Responsible for identifying, chartering, and leading significant improvement initiatives - delivering the project results on time
  • Manage and maintain project milestone schedules with integrated detailed scheduling
  • Monitor work output from less senior engineers on the project team as assigned by the department manager
  • Ensure that one exhibits an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations.

Requirements

  • University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 1+ years of related work experience
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Ability to analyze data
  • Ability to using problem solving techniques to resolve issues and implement change
  • Proven ability to complete major projects in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to schedule resources effectively so continuous improvement is not sacrificed for day to day results
  • Additional consideration for those that are considered subject matter experts in a particular field of engineering (process, packaging, refrigeration, etc.)
  • Project Management experience 1+ years, leading on projects less than $1 million.
