About the role
- Responsible for supporting the commercial and sourcing activity for the Industrial Service Equipment Category used by Nestlé worldwide.
- Handle implementing the category strategy for primarily the Industrial Service Equipment spend and capex projects in scope on a regional and global level.
- Execute key global sourcing projects to deliver expected cost reduction levels.
- Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the category strategy.
- Perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to find improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Honours university degree in either an engineering or a scientific subject or in Procurement/Supply Chain with relevant technical experience.
- Well established experience in strategic sourcing role procuring Industrial Service Equipment in an international environment.
- Strong flexibility and mental agility to work in a cross-functional environment in a highly complex global organization.
- Demonstrate successful use of effective category sourcing, risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationship management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across a global network.
- Fluency in English, other languages will be an asset.
