About the role
- Deliver hands-on training on the production floor for operations colleagues
- Provide technical instruction and mentorship to production associates and certified On-the-Job Trainers
- Conduct real-time coaching to address immediate knowledge gaps or performance issues
- Assess individual learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) and adapt training delivery
- Partner with Line Supervisors to support high-turnover training areas
- Ensure training compliance for all job certifications and quarterly training requirements
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ensure adherence to documentation standards
- Identify and recommend updates to training manuals and SOPs
- Create and update training materials in accordance with standardized formatting
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Experience delivering training or instruction in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Operational, mechanical, or technical aptitude sufficient to effectively instruct production tasks
- Experience championing digital learning tools (e.g., POKA, video-based instruction)
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred
- Ability to create, update, and maintain training materials using standardized formats
- Strong communication skills, effective interpersonal abilities, and a high level of attention to detail.
