About the role

  • Develop shopper trade expertise to optimize the customer journey
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasts to optimize Nespresso's commercial performance
  • Define assortment strategy and promotional plan
  • Prepare category reviews for client meetings
  • Analyze panel and retailer data to identify market trends
  • Develop the annual sell-out sales phasing
  • Act as the trade liaison on the customer journey with other departments
  • Conduct competitive monitoring by tracking retailer leaflets and industry innovations
  • Communicate sales forecasts to Management and represent Trade at monthly reviews
  • Develop assortment strategy by system, channel and client
  • Plan machine launches and product phase-outs for obsolete items
  • Optimize and cost the promotional budget in collaboration with Key Account Managers (KAMs)
  • Monitor promotion progress against performance targets

Requirements

  • Master's degree (Bac+5 equivalency) from a university or business school
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial and/or marketing roles
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects
  • Business- and results-oriented
  • Analytical mindset
  • Proficiency with consumer and retailer panels
  • Strong commercial sense and client relationship skills
  • Good understanding of customer, retailer and channel challenges
  • Curiosity, rigor, organization and autonomy
  • Ability to influence while remaining attentive to others
  • Proficiency in English
  • Knowledge of the small appliances sector is a plus
