About the role
- Provide controls engineering leadership and support to the manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance teams
- Work directly with the Plant Controls Group on PLC programming, HMI/SCADA data acquisition, and instrument calibrations
- Design and approve electrical installations per codes and standards
- Ensure the reliability and performance of site power distribution systems through technical oversight
- Provide PLC and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support for the factory
- Assist in scope development, requirements, and objectives for electrical and controls projects
- Coordinate and implement control system software upgrades
- Develop and maintain the long-term electrical and controls infrastructure plan for the factory
- Maintain current and complete electrical and controls as-built documentation
- Assist in maintenance staff training and development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years’ of experience with electrical troubleshooting, PLC logic system design, technical data interpretation, and hardware application specification in an industrial manufacturing environment
- OR Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years’ of experience with electrical troubleshooting, PLC logic system design, technical data interpretation, and hardware application specification in an industrial manufacturing environment
