About the role

  • Provide controls engineering leadership and support to the manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance teams
  • Work directly with the Plant Controls Group on PLC programming, HMI/SCADA data acquisition, and instrument calibrations
  • Design and approve electrical installations per codes and standards
  • Ensure the reliability and performance of site power distribution systems through technical oversight
  • Provide PLC and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support for the factory
  • Assist in scope development, requirements, and objectives for electrical and controls projects
  • Coordinate and implement control system software upgrades
  • Develop and maintain the long-term electrical and controls infrastructure plan for the factory
  • Maintain current and complete electrical and controls as-built documentation
  • Assist in maintenance staff training and development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years’ of experience with electrical troubleshooting, PLC logic system design, technical data interpretation, and hardware application specification in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • OR Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years’ of experience with electrical troubleshooting, PLC logic system design, technical data interpretation, and hardware application specification in an industrial manufacturing environment
