About the role
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs across all line operations to improve the performance of processing equipment.
- Execute and follow up on maintenance plans according to schedule.
- Ensure working areas are kept clean, organized, and safe in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Maintain familiarity with all running equipment parameters, set points, and packaging integrity.
- Support line operations and operations planners by training operators on equipment operation and preventive maintenance.
- Operate any equipment as required during emergencies.
- Monitor current line efficiency, performance, daily indicators, and issues affecting them.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety requirements for self, product, workplace, and colleagues while performing duties.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
- Follow SOPs, safety rules, and permit-to-work procedures.
- Support shutdowns, breakdown responses, and continuous improvement activities.
- Assist engineers during installation, commissioning, and project execution.
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering Technology (minimum).
- 3–4 years of relevant work experience during or after studies.
- Strong knowledge and demonstrated use of SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of factory organization, accountabilities, and responsibilities.
- Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese.
- Positive work attitude and good interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to follow direction within a factory environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in the FMCG sector is an advantage.
