About the role
- Direct and coordinate the development and implementation of the plant's SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) strategy and program.
- Ensure adherence to all company principles, policies and requirements related to SHE, including NCE, TPM, Lean, NEMS and NSMS.
- Implement, control, maintain and improve the plant's SHE management systems, including achieving and maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification.
- Ensure SHE performance data is available and properly managed.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and postgraduate specialization/certification in Occupational Safety.
- Previous professional experience in safety, health and environment roles within large-scale industries, with a utilities sector of high complexity.
- Ability to manage results through others and to lead change.
- Prior professional experience and understanding of TPM and Lean methodologies.
- Be present on the Gemba, committed to keeping people safe and protecting the environment.
- Advanced English is desirable.
