About the role
- Set the strategy on Responsible Sourcing for Procurement, ensuring alignment with group and zone objectives.
- Drive improvement in Tier 1 Supplier Audit processes in Procurement (SMETA), ensuring robust compliance and risk mitigation.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in responsible sourcing across the supplier base.
- Address gaps and drive continuous improvement in responsible sourcing practices.
- Connect externally with industry peers, organizations, and forums to collaboratively tackle responsible sourcing challenges.
- Collaborate with our Sustainability Acceleration Team members to close key gaps.
- Partner with Corporate & Procurement Senior Stakeholders to define efficient ways of working and processes for effective oversight of responsible sourcing.
- Act as the first escalation point for responsible sourcing issues to Procurement Stakeholders & Procurement Leadership Team.
- Ensure project progress and milestones with suppliers through different KPIs (e.g. Audit completion rates, Corrective Action Plan closure) and optimize processes & reporting (e.g. through AI/ PowerBIs).
- Ensure compliance with Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles & Standards.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Supply Chain, Environmental Sciences).
- Well established and proven experience in a global role ideally related to Procurement/Responsible Sourcing/Sustainability.
- Experience in responsible sourcing and sustainability is a strong plus.
- Ability to navigate a complex matrix of different stakeholders at local and corporate levels.
- Affinity with relevant standards and protocols related to Responsible Sourcing (e.g. SMETA, CSDDD).
- Ability to work in an international, complex, ambiguous environment.
- At ease with different tools (ServiceNow, Excel, AI, PowerPoint, PowerBI).
- Initiative and capability to deal with ambiguity.
- Proven experience of setting strategy, building processes, and ways of working from scratch.
- Strong project management skills and results-focused mindset.
- Fluent in English; another language will be an asset.
