About the role
- Provide controls engineering leadership and support to the production, engineering, and maintenance teams.
- Work directly with the Plant Controls Group, specifically with PLC programming, project execution, HMI/SCADA, and instrument calibrations to drive continuous improvement on automated processes and equipment.
- Design and approve electrical installations per codes and standards, ensuring the reliability and performance of site power distribution systems through technical oversight.
- Provide PLC and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support for the factory.
- Assist in scope development, requirements, and objectives for electrical and controls projects.
- Coordinate and implement control system software and hardware upgrades.
- Develop and maintain the long-term electrical and controls infrastructure plan for the factory.
- Maintain current and complete electrical and controls as-built documentation.
- Assist in maintenance staff training and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years’ of experience with electrical troubleshooting, PLC logic system design, technical data interpretation, and hardware application specification in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- OR Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years’ of experience with electrical troubleshooting, PLC logic system design, technical data interpretation, and hardware application specification in an industrial manufacturing environment.
