About the role
- Market Analysis & Insights: Analyze studies and retail market data to generate shopper insights and produce meaningful reports.
- Brand Performance Evaluation: Assess BEBA’s performance in retail, benchmark it against competitors, and evaluate performance at category and new-product levels.
- Strategy & Recommendations: Translate market data into evidence-based recommendations to further develop the brand and product portfolio.
- Sales & Customer Support: Support sales activities by assisting with customer and new-product presentations.
- Preparation of Results Presentations: Prepare results presentations and support Key Account Managers during client meetings.
- Promotions & Sales Materials: Assist in the design and implementation of promotions.
- Sales Collateral & Presentations: Create sales materials and presentations to support the sales team.
- Collaboration & Projects: Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Marketing and with external agencies and service providers.
Requirements
- Education: Enrolled in Business Administration (BWL) or a comparable degree with a focus on Marketing and/or Sales, Nutritional Sciences, or currently in a gap year between Bachelor’s and Master’s studies.
- Practical Experience: Initial practical experience through internships or roles in sales, the consumer goods industry, or retail.
- Interests: Strong interest in the German grocery/food retail sector.
- Working Style & Skills: Strong analytical skills, a team-oriented approach, and an independent, proactive work style.
- Tools: Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Languages: Very good written and spoken German and English.
