About the role

  • Manage the design, implementation and Start-Up phases of capital investment projects on the manufacturing site
  • Ensure that the objectives of the investment project charter, design specifications and Nestlé standards are implemented and adhered to
  • Ensure the alignment with internal and external partners through the Daily and Weekly Operational Reviews and Collaborative Planning processes
  • Identify and manage exceptions and monitor performance
  • Support the Project Engineering Manager in developing the investment project charter and ensure that it is strictly followed throughout the project
  • Execute the basic and detailed design of the project based on Nestlé Corporate Business Principles, Nestlé standards, local regulations, the defined User Requirements Specifications and the TPM characteristics
  • Ensure safety during both the construction and the ongoing operation of the plant.
  • Select and qualify contractors and coordinate their activities
  • Support the Start-Up Manager and their team to ensure a smooth transition to operations after the qualification and verification of the installation

Requirements

  • University Degree in Engineering or similar
  • 1-3 years experience in Engineering roles
  • Open to mobility conditions around Nestlé Waters Global Engineering HUB
  • Analytical, Planning and Communication Skills
  • Master’s degree in mechanical, E&A, Process, Industrial engineering, or similar
  • Independent usage of digital tools: Office365, MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit
  • Fluent Italian and English.
