About the role
- Preliminary analysis for projects including building, utilities, services, equipment, and layout
- Managing implementation of equipment and related scopes (design e.g., User Requirement Specifications, procurement, fabrication, testing/ FAT, shipment, reception, installation/ IQ, commissioning/ SAT (OQ, PQ) and handover)
- Responsible for the scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk management
- Updating/creating technical and managerial drawings, documents, presentations, and reports
- Executing the basic and detailed design of the project based on Nestlé Corporate Business Principles, Nestlé standards, local and international relevant regulations
- Ensuring safety by design during both construction and the ongoing operation of the plant
- Lead the contribution of all the stakeholders, work with other engineering streams (E&A, civil, powder process) to implement the project in accordance with the defined timing, cost and quality
- Lead technical efforts to enable start-up manager and team to smoothly transit to operation
- Selecting, qualifying and coordination of contractors’ activities
- Related equipment includes powder filling machines, cartoner, conveyor, case packer, palletiser and their accessories include roller door, case printer, reel lifter, static scales, racking, etc.
Requirements
- Completion of tertiary study in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the engineering field, food manufacturing environment – preferred
- Strong communicator
- Project Management skills
- Developed analytical and budgetary skills
- Experience in managing and leading teams
- Timely, proactive and courageous communication
- Excellent presentation skills
- Proven capacity to influence and negotiate to drive high standards of performance and quality
- Self-management following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking them
