About the role
- Provide leadership for the planning, implementation and operation of the organization's Safety Management System (SMS)
- Support the evolution of the safety culture in the plant
- Empower employees and reduce work-related injuries and illnesses
- Manage, facilitate, direct, and support safety objectives and goals
- Develop Safety and Health programs, systems and processes, including training and coaching
- Drive compliance with local, state, and federal safety requirements
- Organize, coordinate, and conduct training for Safety Committee on safety topics
- Utilize Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) principles to enhance performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of professional safety experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment and 2+ years of relevant leadership experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 7+ years of professional safety experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment and 2+ years of relevant leadership experience
