About the role

  • Provide practical and technical support in close collaboration with colleagues.
  • Drive projects from initial feasibility studies for budget requests through detailed design to on-site implementation.
  • Improve operations in the pilot plant and associated systems through detailed data analysis.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and complex root-cause analyses.
  • Support research and development of new technologies/products and their industrialization.

Requirements

  • Completed technical apprenticeship with professional experience and further technical education (e.g., HF/FH).
  • Strong technical understanding to address challenges pragmatically and implement sustainable solutions in practice.
  • More than 5 years of professional experience is expected; experience in the food industry, including hygiene requirements and process engineering, is an advantage but not required.
  • Good networking and communication skills.
  • Passion for making an impact at work and driving initiatives forward.
  • Solid problem-solving skills as part of a larger team and willingness to apply them on-site.
  • Willingness to develop specific expertise in defined areas and become a local subject-matter expert.
