About the role
- Ensure achievement of agreed customer targets and KPIs
- Implement, follow up, and update customer plans while driving excellence in execution through proactive planning, communication, and corrective actions.
- Enhance and nurture productive business relationships beyond the Category Manager level, engaging cross-functional leaders and decision-makers.
- Work closely with peer Key Account Managers and liaise with Marketing, CDT, Commercial Planning, Field Sales, and Supply Chain to drive customer-related initiatives and share best practices.
- Anticipate trends, measure results consistently, and apply learnings to optimise performance.
Requirements
- Background in pharmacy account management, particularly in roles such as pharmacy account executive or account manager.
- Ability to manage alternative trade channels through distributors is preferred but can be acquired on the job.
- Minimum of 3-5 years senior sales experience.
- Well developed planning and analytical skills.
- Strong financial acumen and a degree in Business, Marketing or related field is key.
- Knowledge of grocery and mass channels.
