About the role

  • Ensure achievement of agreed customer targets and KPIs
  • Implement, follow up, and update customer plans while driving excellence in execution through proactive planning, communication, and corrective actions.
  • Enhance and nurture productive business relationships beyond the Category Manager level, engaging cross-functional leaders and decision-makers.
  • Work closely with peer Key Account Managers and liaise with Marketing, CDT, Commercial Planning, Field Sales, and Supply Chain to drive customer-related initiatives and share best practices.
  • Anticipate trends, measure results consistently, and apply learnings to optimise performance.

Requirements

  • Background in pharmacy account management, particularly in roles such as pharmacy account executive or account manager.
  • Ability to manage alternative trade channels through distributors is preferred but can be acquired on the job.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years senior sales experience.
  • Well developed planning and analytical skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and a degree in Business, Marketing or related field is key.
  • Knowledge of grocery and mass channels.
