About the role
- Provide optimal electrical and process control equipment in the plant
- Ensure the reliability of electrical and process control hardware and software operations
- Lead and drive Electrical Safety and Electrical compliance per OSHA Standards
- Optimize maintenance and operation costs of electrical and process control systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance on power distribution and automation equipment
- Own the plant Electrical Obsolescence Program
- Maintain liaisons with other departments and facilities for support
- Prepare and maintain documentation for electrical system specifications
- Lead and develop projects in electricity and automation engineering
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including low, medium, and high voltage installations
- Strong understanding of local electrical codes and standards
- Good knowledge of Instrumentation and Process Control Systems
- In-depth knowledge of HMIs, and PLCs
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with food processing operations and technology
