About the role

  • Create Detailed Production Schedules taking into consideration material availability, line capacity, labor availability, line related stoppages and maintenance plans
  • Ensure availability of raw and packaging materials through proper replenishment and communication with suppliers
  • Drive initiatives to ensure efficiency, optimization and savings in both DPS and MRP
  • Ensure proper alignment between factory, procurement, supply chain and suppliers
  • Create a feasible detailed production schedule within the agreed planning time fence with appropriate sequencing to optimize asset stream efficiency and stock availability
  • Agree on plans to minimize impact on customer service levels and working capital
  • Create and optimize replenishment plans for raw and packaging materials over an 18 month horizon to ensure supply of material to production, whilst meeting working capital targets and stock cover policies
  • Manage exceptions with suppliers & follow up on delivery short falls and quality issue with suppliers
  • Monitor supplier performance ensuring plans are developed with the supplier and procurement to close gaps as necessary
  • Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, reliability, lot sizes and cycle times with production in order to drive speed and agility at appropriate cost
  • Work with suppliers and procurement to identify improvement opportunities to drive TDC, service improvements or working capital reductions
  • Participate in initiatives to improve the TDC and agility of the end-to-end supply
  • Complete and monitor production planning master data to ensure accurate production, requirement and supply plans are reflected on GLOBE
  • Ensure proper alignment between supply planners, procurement and factory teams
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with stakeholders to ensure an optimized plan is published on time, which the teams are motivated to deliver
  • Drive connectivity between Nestle planning, procurement and suppliers
  • Work with the business to plan and influence timings on new product development
  • Manage supplier relationship locally within the supply stream
  • Complete all production planning and network planning master data for NPDs, to ensure accurate production, requirement and supply plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Supply Chain
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Supply Chain or Procurement background
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Power BI experience is a Plus
