About the role
- Lead the design and development of custom UIs using Lightning Web Components (LWC) aligned with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS)
- Develop scalable Apex classes, triggers, and integration logic for complex business requirements
- Build LWCs powered by real-time and on-demand external data using callouts, named credentials, and asynchronous processing
- Design and implement integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and event-driven approaches
- Apply best practices in authentication mechanisms (Named Credentials, Connected Apps, JWT, OAuth)
- Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and stakeholders to define and deliver scalable solutions
- Optimize performance, scalability, and security of Salesforce applications
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and development standards
- Stay updated with Salesforce releases and recommend adoption of relevant features
Requirements
- 6+ years of Salesforce development experience with strong expertise in Apex, LWC, and integrations
- Extensive experience in custom UI development using LWC
- Strong knowledge of Service Cloud (preferred)
- Experience in financial services / insurance domain (preferred)
- Deep understanding of authentication mechanisms (Named Credentials, Connected Apps, OAuth flows, JWT)
- Experience designing LWCs that fetch and render external system data
- Solid understanding of Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and UI best practices
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills
- Mandatory certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1); Salesforce JavaScript Developer I
- Preferred certifications: Salesforce Administrator; Salesforce Platform Developer II (PD2); Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant
