About the role

  • Lead and manage financial operations across multiple European geographies (Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania, Riga, United Kingdom, Germany)
  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with US GAAP and local GAAPs; manage monthly, quarterly, annual closings and external audits
  • Develop and maintain cash flow forecasting; oversee treasury operations, payment approvals, intercompany settlements, and banking relationships
  • Ensure taxation and regulatory compliance including corporate income tax, VAT, tax filings, payments, and transfer pricing documentation
  • Establish and strengthen internal controls; standardize accounting practices, implement finance SOPs, and support ERP (SAP) implementations
  • Lead and mentor finance professionals and collaborate with global finance, operations, HR, legal, and tax teams

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in accounting and finance OR ACCA or equivalent international accounting qualification (preferred)
  • Minimum 12-15 years of progressive experience in finance or controllership roles
  • Strong command of SAP systems (SAP ECC/S4 HANA)
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • English fluency required
  • Slovakian language native speaking
