The Tutor Operations Specialist, also known as the Fulfillment Engagement Specialist, supports applicants, updates our catalog of sessions, supports our customer success team, and assigns tutors.\n• We are looking for candidates with an interest in working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. The ideal candidate easily adapts to the needs of the organization, is a problem solver and self-starter, and has a passion for fulfilling our company’s mission of helping people learn.\n• Responsibilities: May include some or all of the following tasks;\n• Support Tutor Applicants and Tutor Onboarding\n• Screen candidates for tutor, group instructor, and educator roles (all independent contractors).\n• Assist the tutor-setup process in the tutor marketplace including supporting applicants via phone, chat, email, and even video if necessary.\n• Update our Digital Inventory of Institutional Sessions and Courses.\n• Conduct data entry, registration, and enrollment activities for school district accounts\n• Add new courses to digital inventory and provide ongoing maintenance of this inventory\n• Set up sessions in catalog based on client (school system or parent) or course requirements following checklists and documented processes.\n• Assign Tutors to Tutoring Sessions\n• Match students with experts for one-on-one instruction and classes, following document processes and checklists\n• Assist tutors with questions about opportunities via phone, chat, email, and even video if necessary\n• Contact tutors directly about specific sessions or to verify their knowledge or availability via phone, chat, email, or even video if necessary\n• Contact clients to discuss placement requirements, pitch specific tutors, negotiate scheduling and rates.\n• Support Institutional and Course Schedule Changes\n• Partner with parents to identify and assess student’s needs to implement the appropriate tutoring support\n• Audit tutoring sessions to determine compliance with individual school requirements\n• Manage course participants, cancellations, and credits\n• Schedule meeting links for courses when necessary\n• Other work as directed.\n• Qualifications: Level B2 English proficiency\n• Level B2 English proficiency\n• Experience with data entry and fulfillment processes (catalog or account updates, inventory management, scheduling)\n• Experience with Google, Slack, Twilio and Zendesk are preferred but not required\n• Professional experience in recruiting, education, customer service, retail, or another fast-paced environment preferred or a bachelor’s degree\n• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n• Comfortable performing all job responsibilities on a laptop or computer\n• Able to perform basic technical troubleshooting with work equipment\n• Highly adaptable to change and thrives in a fast-paced environment\n• Self-starter with exceptional attention to detail\n• Ability to take a creative approach to problem solving on case-by-case basis\n• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
