About the role
- Maintain and support legacy software written in Visual Basic 6. Develop new software versions using Visual Basic .NET and ASP.NET. Manage and optimize databases with Microsoft SQL Server. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software and technical issues. Provide technical triage and respond to customer support tickets. Collaborate with the lead developer on new software architecture initiatives. Support customer connections via platforms such as Freshdesk and TeamViewer. Ensure high-quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Visual Basic (6 and .NET). Strong knowledge of ASP.NET web technologies. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (database management & queries). Understanding of legacy code maintenance. Knowledge of web development and UI/UX principles. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written). Preferred Qualifications: 1–3 years of experience in software development. Familiarity with software support processes. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
