About the role
- Conduct As-Is analysis and document functional process flows related to Risk model data usage.
- Analyze existing SAS code and End User Computing tools to understand data logic and validate outputs using SQL.
- Define data requirements and produce Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and technical specifications, including transformations, mappings, and integration points.
- Design and document the To-Be data processes and datasets.
- Collaborate with development teams to clarify functional requirements, validate technical implementations, and support resolution of code-related incidents.
- Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring defects are tracked, resolved, and validated prior to release.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst within Financial Services or Banking (Retail, Business, or Corporate Banking).
- Strong hands-on experience performing complex data analysis using SQL, including data validation, reconciliation, and testing.
- Exposure to SAS, including reviewing and interpreting SAS code to understand data logic and transformations.
- Experience producing BRDs, technical specifications, user stories, and process documentation.
- Proven experience working with end users to plan and execute UAT cycles.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage work independently within defined objectives.
