About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure successful home finding and provide clinical support for adoptive families
Assess children and review information for successful adoptive placements
Conduct assessments of prospective adoptive families
Provide ongoing education and support to families
Participate in team meetings to provide clinical perspective on child referral matches
Facilitate ongoing support groups for families

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s level Clinician, LCSW or equivalent preferred
Minimum five years of post-graduate clinical experience
Thorough understanding and application of ethical clinical service to parents
Adoption experience and/or training in TBRI are advantageous
Must complete a minimum of 30 hours of training every two years on emerging adoption practices
