About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure successful home finding and provide clinical support for adoptive families
- Assess children and review information for successful adoptive placements
- Conduct assessments of prospective adoptive families
- Provide ongoing education and support to families
- Participate in team meetings to provide clinical perspective on child referral matches
- Facilitate ongoing support groups for families
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s level Clinician, LCSW or equivalent preferred
- Minimum five years of post-graduate clinical experience
- Thorough understanding and application of ethical clinical service to parents
- Adoption experience and/or training in TBRI are advantageous
- Must complete a minimum of 30 hours of training every two years on emerging adoption practices
