About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform the monthly accounting close, ensuring deadlines are met and compliance with applicable standards
Post payroll entries, revenue recognition and deferrals, provisions, accruals, monetary adjustments and other journal entries as required
Consolidate financial information for the Neogrid Group
Analyze monthly variances to ensure the quality and reliability of accounting information
Review internally developed projects against accounting standards to classify them as CAPEX or OPEX
Ensure that account reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts are executed by the respective responsible areas
Discuss any discrepancies with the account owners until the matter is resolved
Participate in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and accompanying notes
Monitor changes in accounting regulations to stay updated and ensure correct procedures across the department's processes
Promote the technical development of less experienced analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Knowledge of Accounting Standards (CPC)
Advanced Excel
Experience with various ERP systems
Strong communication skills and ability to interact across multiple departments
Analytical and innovation-oriented mindset
Process-oriented perspective
Familiarity with the use of Artificial Intelligence
Intermediate to advanced English (preferred)
Experience with Dynamics 365 ERP (preferred)
Experience building automations using artificial intelligence (preferred)
