About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, remove bottlenecks, improve throughput, lower costs, and enhance safety across production operations
- Analyze manufacturing processes using Lean, Six Sigma, statistical tools, and chemical engineering principles to identify and implement sustainable improvements
- Develop, scale, and refine chemical process improvements to support robust, efficient, and compliant manufacturing performance
- Lead root cause investigations related to quality deviations, process issues, and equipment failures, recommending corrective and preventive actions
- Provide advanced technical support for new equipment selection, trials, commissioning, and process implementation
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, maintenance, supply chain, quality, regulatory, and EHS teams to support product integrity, audits, inspections, and safe production practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required; master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in process engineering, continuous improvement, manufacturing, or a similar technical environment
- Experience applying Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies preferred
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with statistical tools and data-driven process improvement methods is a plus
- Experience in pesticides, specialty chemicals, regulated manufacturing, or similar production environments preferred
- Ability to travel approximately 25% to support improvement initiatives across two locations
