Technical Enablement Program Manager – Field Engineering
Neo4jTechnical Enablement Program Manager for Neo4j designing onboarding and upskilling programs. Leading the improvement of technical enablement across Field Engineering with strategic and execution focus.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, execute, and continuously improve technical enablement programs across the Field Engineering organization
- Partner closely with Graph Academy, product and engineering SMEs, and go-to-market teams to translate technical content into engaging, scalable enablement programs
- Own the design and delivery of structured onboarding, upskilling, and certification programs that build practitioner-level technical competence
- Act as a trusted partner to technical leadership, ensuring that enablement programs directly support product evolution, technical strategy, and field execution
- Define and track meaningful KPIs to measure effectiveness
- Maintain hands-on technical depth to review content, question assumptions, and engage with SMEs
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, or lab walkthroughs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience in technical enablement, technical training, curriculum development, or related roles (e.g. solution engineering, developer advocacy, technical sales enablement)
- Demonstrated experience designing, launching, and iterating multi‑persona technical enablement programs
- Strong program and project management skills — ability to juggle multiple, overlapping initiatives
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, coaching, and written communication skills (able to explain complex technical ideas in accessible ways)
- Proven stakeholder management: ability to work with senior leaders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams
- Experience using learning management systems (LMS), authoring/training tools, content repositories, knowledge bases, and tools like Confluence, SharePoint, or equivalents
- Data-driven mindset: comfort defining and tracking metrics, dashboards, and deriving insights
- Hands-on, get-things-done attitude; high initiative and ownership
- Experience managing certification, accreditation, or assessment programs is a strong plus
- Previous experience in the field (solutions engineering, presales, professional services, or consulting) is highly desirable
- Experience with adult learning theory, instructional design, and best practices in technical pedagogy
