About the role
- Drive revenue growth by developing and implementing sales strategies to attract corporate clients
- Build strong relationships with clients, negotiate contracts, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Develop and execute sales plans to increase occupancy and revenue through corporate bookings, group sales, and special events
- Manage current accounts and ensure proper solicitation of the designated market
- Attain personal booking goals and monitor production compliance
- Secure a thorough understanding of hotel operations and negotiate profitable sales
- Manage familiarization trips and site visits to nurture new business and highlight the unique features of the Resort
- Solicit new business by resourcefully expanding account base; identifying and developing new markets; creating and executing innovative plans
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert them into bookings through cold calling, networking, and industry events
- Serve as part of a broader sales network and organization
- Attend important business networking events
Requirements
- Strong organization and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment
- Strong relationship building and communication skills
- Focus on exceptional customer service skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in working in other key sales areas
- Optimistic self-starter with a high degree of drive, motivation, and initiative
- Fluent in the use and functionality of Delphi preferred
- Ability to travel
