About the role
- Represent NWADV as part of the team handling enforcement of court-awarded attorneys' fees (sucumbência), conducting proceedings in courts across all states;
- Process publications, schedule deadlines in the case management system, analyze case files, prepare reports and meet deadlines;
- Update calculations and subsequently contact opposing counsel to seek resolution of the dispute by settlement;
- Draft defenses, appeals and various legal pleadings;
- Handle Credit Recovery actions: Enforcement, Payment Order (monitória) and Collection proceedings;
- Take steps to advance cases toward recovery of amounts due (request SISBAJUD, RENAJUD, INFOJUD, SNJ/“SNIPER”, etc.);
- Conduct judgment enforcement, including preparation and challenge of calculations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1.5 years of active registration with OAB/SP (São Paulo Bar Association);
- Experience in high-volume litigation law firms;
- Proficiency in credit recovery actions;
- Proficiency in the judgment enforcement phase, including preparation and challenge of calculations, provision of security and filing objections;
- Full proficiency with Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel skills occasionally required;
- Ability to prepare defenses, appeals and various legal pleadings;
- Strong command of judgment enforcement procedures, including preparation and challenge of calculations.
