About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate and develop new business to meet production goals in temporary, direct hire, and temp-to-hire business
- Cross-sell other business units into new relationships
- Independently maintain and nurture existing client relationships
- Maintain quality company records in CRM and ATS systems
- Function as liaison between client companies and operations staff
- Negotiate contracts and work agreements making business impactful on behalf of Nelson Connects
- Participate in important business/trade events, representing and acting on behalf of Nelson Connects
- Use excellent organizational, problem resolution, consultative sales, verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or work equivalent
- One to two years in a sales role
- Knowledge of recruiting practices is a bonus
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Acute attention to detail
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups.
