About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provision, configure, and monitor infrastructure resources in Microsoft Azure
Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules
Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code pipelines for deployment, updates, and decommissioning
Develop and enhance GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
Automate operational tasks, security checks, and compliance reporting
Integrate and administer test automation and application security tools
Establish source code management frameworks and branching strategies in GitHub
Modify pipelines and write automation scripts for building, deploying, and maintaining applications
Create and maintain automated CI/CD environments for legacy applications
Oversee builds and deployments to non-production and production environments
Support production and interim environmental releases
Identify environmental issues and provide corrective actions
Streamline and automate delivery processes
Research and implement tools for test automation scripts
Build and manage production deployment artifacts with Operations teams
Document procedures for developed processes and tools
Establish and manage proof-of-concept environments and report design outcomes
Monitor Development, QA, and Performance environment health and performance
Execute maintenance tasks and fixes
Enforce and maintain environment and application security policies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field
7+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering/design
Minimum 3+ years of practical experience in DevOps, CI/CD, Automation Build and Delivery Operations
Extensive experience with scripting languages, PowerShell, Batch, Shell
Extensive experience with CI/CD Tools in Azure DevOps (VSTS)
Experience with Cloud Delivery Methodologies using Microsoft Azure Products and Technologies
Experience with Microsoft, .Net, .Net Core, HTML5, PowerShell, JavaScript, CSS, Java, C#, XML, REST, SQL/NoSQL, Angular, NodeJS, Redis
Experience automating build and release changes for InRule Rules Engine, Microsoft CRM Dynamics and Microsoft Power BI is a plus
Experience with GitHub source code management and effective branching strategies
Understanding of Student Lending Applications spectrum
Knowledge of security policies, compliance requirements, NIST security standards, and industry best practices
