Key responsibilities & impact
  • Grow Nelnet Government Services in SLED market
  • Create a qualified pipeline and close services-led engagements
  • Sell consultatively to senior stakeholders across various sectors
  • Build relationships and develop target-buyer maps
  • Create, qualify, and advance opportunities for engagements
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycle from meeting through contracting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience
  • 5+ years selling to SLED (state/local/education) organizations
  • Knowledge of modern software delivery practices and AI technologies
  • Ability to engage with technical stakeholders and translate AI capabilities
  • Experience with partner-led public sector motions, specifically Google Public Sector
  • Proven success selling complex technology services with long sales cycles
  • Ability to lead end-to-end pursuits
  • Strong knowledge of SLED procurement approaches
  • Executive presence and credibility with senior leadership
  • Forecasting rigor and CRM discipline
  • Ability to pass required background checks
