About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build the next generation platform in the lending industry
- Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, product, design, and other team members to understand needs and create products
- Develop cloud-native products using microservices architecture and leading-edge technologies and practices
- Partner with product and design studio to craft product experiences
- Design, deliver, and evolve solutions through hands-on configuration, development, quality assurance, and prototyping
- Design, deliver, and evolve application and infrastructure code using Agile software development and test-driven development methodologies
- Participate in design, coding, testing, and production release activities
- Participate in designing, implementing, and evolving Development, Build, and Deploy processes and environments
- Participate in and promote architectural initiatives while balancing long-term velocity with short-term customer needs
- Write clean, readable, scalable, and performant code
- Learn, push the envelope, and share knowledge with others
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years total experience delivering enterprise class web applications
- At least 3 most recent years working with ES6/7 JavaScript, TypeScript and/or similar technologies
- 3 years current experience building single page applications with popular JavaScript frameworks and libraries
- Previous experience developing microservices
- Previous experience building, maintaining and/or evolving development processes and environments
- Previous experience building, maintaining and/or evolving development, test and production environments in a cloud environment
- Solid fundamental understanding of testing, including stubbing, functional, unit, and end-to-end testing
- Practical experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding of the full web technology stack, including HTTP, cookies, asset loading, caching, and REST
- Experience using CI/CD tools and systems such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab, and GitHub
- Experience with Material.io, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, Bootstrap, and cross-browser and device development
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming concepts
- Understanding of JavaScript concepts including scope/closures, the event loop, asynchronous callbacks, and promises
- Strong database knowledge, including table design, complex query creation, and best practices
- Experience architecting and implementing complex solutions from infrastructure level to application level
- Must already be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
