About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding
- Develop or modify moderately complex information systems
- Bridge clients' business needs and the technical capabilities of the team
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs
- Perform requirements analysis and ensure solutions meet business needs
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify improvement areas, and develop and implement solutions
- Document requirements, evaluate scenarios, and execute required changes
- Conduct meetings and presentations to share and review ideas and findings
- Create and update system documentation
- Drive testing and perform Software Quality Assurance, QA program implementation, testing, verification, and validation
- Identify test scenarios, test scripts, and acceptance criteria
- Write test scenarios and scripts and analyze test results
- Summarize and communicate testing outcomes
- Report, track, and prioritize bugs
- Act as liaison among clients, operations, and technical staff
- Collaborate with testers, team members, and technical teams
- Develop and maintain test plans and manual and automated test scripts for functional, interface, and user acceptance testing
- Execute regression, functional, and data tests
- Facilitate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support implementation testing and related activities
- Provide usability feedback
- Provide after-hours support for releases
Requirements
What you’ll need- External candidates must reside within a 30-mile radius of an office in Centennial, Colorado; Lincoln, Nebraska; Madison, Wisconsin; Boise, Idaho; or Brownsville, Texas
- United States citizenship required; foreign nationals cannot be hired for this position
- Must complete United States Government security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or commensurate experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, or detailed working knowledge of several system functions
- Good working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet tools, SQL, HTML, Adobe Acrobat, and the internet
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong consensus building, multitasking, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Ability to work with technical staff and clients
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Knowledge of NIST compliance strongly desired
- Experience with Agile strongly desired
- Experience leveraging AI is a plus
