About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in solution design for a wide range of business needs
  • Analyze and translate business requirements into technical requirements

  • Develop frontend Angular web applications
  • Work with SQL Server databases and third-party document management and imaging applications
  • Participate in an agile delivery team
  • Participate in code reviews, automated testing, on-call, and production release processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or a related discipline or work experience preferred
  • Preferably 2-5+ years of software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in at least one key competency
  • Backend web services development in C# with .NET
  • Frontend web application development using TypeScript/JavaScript with Angular
  • Component libraries and WCAG & Section 508 expectations
  • Efficient SQL and relational modeling; SQL Server preferred
  • Git, branching, pull requests, readable commits, and code review
  • Automated unit and integration testing
  • Secure coding practices and security/compliance requirements informed by NIST
  • Software dependency and secrets management
  • Log reading, distributed workflow tracing, and monitoring tools
  • Participation in on-call and production release processes
  • Clean architecture and service-boundary conventions
  • Use of AI-assisted tools consistent with organizational data-handling and security policies
  • Ability to perform effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle and agile delivery models
  • Ability to quickly learn technologies, domain concepts, and business processes in a complex regulatory environment
  • Clear verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ownership of assigned work, risk identification, and production-ready deliverables
  • Clear documentation for maintainability, onboarding, and operational support
  • Ability to obtain a federal security clearance
  • United States citizenship required; foreign nationals cannot be hired for this position
  • Enterprise document management system experience is a plus
  • External candidates must reside within a 30-mile radius of an office location
