About the role
- Lead, inspire and grow a high-performing team of 3–6 software engineers
- Collaborate with the product manager to define the roadmap and priorities and coordinate dependencies across the company
- Take ownership of the quality and security of the software within your team and drive initiatives to continuously improve it
- Split responsibilities approximately 40% delivery, 30% people management, and 30% hands-on technical work
- Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of the engineering leadership team
- Participate in the recruitment pipeline
- Ensure team delivers outstanding results in both technology and business outcomes
Requirements
- 2+ years of engineering management experience
- 6+ years of overall experience in the industry
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in building SaaS products
- Experience with the TypeScript ecosystem
- Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Deep understanding of software development processes
- Empathy and excellent communication skills
- Experience in developing, mentoring and growing a high performing team
