About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead all procurement activities across the Expansion and Construction categories in the EMEA region, ensuring timely execution, value for money, compliance, and service continuity.
- Drive the procurement strategy for clinic construction and fit-out, with particular focus on leading the RFP of ancillary materials and services, and supporting the RFP process for general contractors as required.
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for key construction categories including: clinic build and fit-out, furniture and fixtures and ancillary services such as design advisory.
- Develop and maintain procurement playbooks for repeatable activities, including clinic roll-out, lease agreements, construction, fit-out, consumables, and facility services.
- Identify, evaluate, select, and manage suppliers to deliver goods or services in line with business needs, including qualification of construction contractors and specialist fit-out partners.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to maximise value, minimise risk, and support key business objectives. Manage supplier contracts through their full lifecycle from execution to termination or renewal.
- Create and manage Purchase Orders, ensuring terms and conditions are clearly defined, delivery dates are met, and goods or services meet expectations.
- Manage the full lifecycle of material delivery including imports and exports, logistics, storage, and delivery to clinic sites across the EMEA region.
- Monitor supplier performance and service levels. Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key construction and facilities partners.
- Act as the primary procurement liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders, including the Expansion, Engineering, and Finance teams, to align procurement strategies with programme timelines.
- Support the Finance team to ensure timely supplier payment and resolve invoice queries.
- Monitor market trends and construction cost indices to support informed procurement decisions and manage supply chain risk across the EMEA clinic portfolio.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to track procurement performance, cost savings, and KPIs.
- Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in compliance with internal policies, delegation of authority levels, and applicable regulations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7-10 years of experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain, or a related operational role.
- Proven experience in procurement, ideally within construction, fit-out, or facilities services, in a fast-paced, multi-site organisation.
- Strong understanding of source-to-contract activities within the construction and real estate sector, including RFP management, contractor selection, and contract negotiation.
- Well versed in strategic procurement and supplier relationship management practices.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across jurisdictions.
- Ability to work independently and travel regionally across EMEA as required.
- Strategic mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and process development.
- Preferred: Experience managing clinic or retail roll-out programmes, or analogous multi-site construction environments.
- Preferred: Proficiency in ERP systems (Business Central or equivalent).
- Preferred: Procurement professional certification (CIPS or equivalent).
- Preferred: European language skills, given the EMEA regional scope.
