Neko Health

Senior Director, Brand

Neko Health

Brand Leader setting vision, building team, and driving brand growth for Neko Health's preventative care.

Posted 5/22/2026full-timeLondon • New York • 🇺🇸 United StatesSenior💰 $275,000 - $305,000 per yearWebsite

About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and launch Neko's global brand strategy and positioning - including visual identity system, tone of voice, and messaging architecture — ready to scale across Sweden, the UK, and the US.
  • Work closely with the CMO, marketing, growth and product teams to ensure the brand narrative drives the funnel, carrying the same clarity and conviction through to search and performance marketing.
  • Lead brand strategy for the New York market entry, approaching it with sensitivity to where that market is in its relationship with preventive health - whether familiar territory or somewhere we need to bring people with us.
  • Identify the partnerships and collaborations that place Neko inside the spaces where our audience already invests in themselves, making the brand feel necessary and immediate.
  • Build an ambassador and talent strategy around the right people - not just well-known, but credible, precise and genuinely aligned with what Neko stands for.
  • Develop a social presence led by human stories: early detection moments told in the voices of the people they happened to, creating the conditions for organic advocacy that no paid campaign can replicate.
  • Make icons of Neko's clinicians - putting real faces, real expertise, and real trust at the center of the brand in an era of wellness noise and misinformation.
  • Build and hire the core brand team: brand leads, strategists, communications planners, content leads - the best people, brought together often enough to do their best work.
  • Establish brand governance and a measurement framework - tracking awareness, consideration, and sentiment.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of brand leadership, with significant experience building or scaling brands at consumer-facing companies - ideally across health, consumer tech, or lifestyle.
  • Proven ability to define brand positioning and translate it into creative work that earns genuine cultural gravity, not just recognition.
  • Experience leading high-performing creative teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of launching brands in new geographies, with the sensitivity to adapt to different markets and audiences.
  • Regulatory savvy - knowing exactly where the boundaries of health communication sit and finding the creative opportunity within them, not around them.
  • Exceptional strategic and creative judgment, with the ability to make confident calls on where the brand shows up, who it speaks to, and what it stands for - with full accountability to connect those calls to real business outcomes.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator, comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environment alongside Product, Clinical, and Growth teams.
  • Genuine curiosity about health, science, and the role technology can play in improving human lives.
