Property Management Accountant
Neighborly®Property Management Accountant responsible for bookkeeping and financial reporting for franchise owners. Analyzing and compiling financial data while maintaining communications with franchises.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze financial information detailing income, expenses, assets, and liabilities and prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your franchise business owners.
- Prepare/review and assist with bank account reconciliations.
- Train and support franchise and staff in industry software accounting practices and procedures.
- Support franchises with special accounting requests.
- Maintain confidentiality of personal information.
- Understand and apply generally accepted accounting principles within the business environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Highly detail oriented and organized in work.
- Must have strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting processes.
- Ability to understand and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
- Ability to act and operate independently and accomplish objectives with minimal daily direction from manager.
- Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications – emphasis on Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to train new franchises.
- Ability to build relationships and trust with new franchises.
