About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the relationship, commercial outcome, and strategic direction for 8–10 enterprise client accounts
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with agency directors, commissioners, executive directors, mayors, county executives, and other senior stakeholders
  • Advise clients on program design, regulatory navigation, and operational best practices
  • Serve as the executive escalation point for client concerns and strategic decisions
  • Own account-level profitability and address delivery-cost and contract-value issues
  • Lead post-sale pricing conversations, including rate increases, scope adjustments, and expansion pricing
  • Own contract renewals and expansion opportunities with the Enterprise Sales Pod
  • Drive retention, expansion, and account profitability
  • Partner with Client Operations on program management and engagement delivery
  • Coordinate implementation pod resources during active build phases and complex change requests
  • Align client expectations, delivery capability, and commercial commitments
  • Lead major program milestones, executive business reviews, and steering committee engagements
  • Support new-logo pursuits, proposal and contracting phases, strategic RFPs, competitive positioning, and pre-sale pricing
  • Transition pursuit-stage relationships into long-term account ownership
  • Represent client priorities in Product and Engineering roadmap discussions
  • Partner with leadership on cross-client insights, market dynamics, and program trends
  • Build and maintain client reference relationships supporting new business pursuits

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in government technology, grants management, federally funded programs, affordable housing, or related complex regulated industries
  • Deep domain expertise in one or more of: US Treasury programs, CDBG-DR, HUD housing and community development programs, DOE rebate programs, HCV, affordable housing, FEMA recovery, state energy programs, or similar
  • Significant experience with state and local government clients in a senior client-facing capacity, as a vendor, consultant, services partner, or senior government employee
  • Strong commercial acumen, including account-level revenue accountability, pricing conversations, and complex contract negotiations
  • Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder and politically complex client environments
  • Executive presence and credibility with senior clients
  • Strong collaboration with Client Operations, Implementation, Support, and Product teams
  • Comfort with ambiguity and change in government programs
  • Genuine service orientation
  • Fluency in technology and government-program business processes
  • Comfortable with regular domestic travel of approximately 25–40%
