About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze retailers' IT architecture, data flows, network, hardware, and operational environments
Advise on the iD Cloud SaaS solution and support API and data integrations from pre-rollout through deployment
Lead or support end-to-end technical testing across data transfer, network and hardware connectivity, application behavior, and system performance
Diagnose problems, recommend alternatives, and support customers moving from pilot to scalable rollout
Build relationships across customer organizations and translate technical tradeoffs into recommendations
Partner with Business Development and Sales on technical discovery, configured demos, product demonstrations, and customer follow-up
Train client champions, IT helpdesks, store teams, and ecosystem partners
Advocate for customers with NEDAP product and technical teams
Document patterns and best practices, influence the product roadmap, and create repeatable deployment solutions
Use data and reporting to explain solution performance, identify opportunities, and recommend improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field
2-8 years of relevant industry experience
Hands-on experience specifying, configuring, or troubleshooting hardware, software, networks, data feeds, APIs, or multi-system customer environments
Strong technical problem-solving skills, including anticipating architecture or integration risks and designing workable alternatives
Experience running several customer implementations or technical workstreams simultaneously
Excellent communication skills across executive, technical, helpdesk, and store-user audiences
Self-directed working style and ownership of results
Proficiency with Excel for data analysis
Experience with SQL, Python, JavaScript, or comparable technical tools is highly desirable
Ability to work from the Burlington, Massachusetts office two to three days per week
Ability to travel 25-35% domestically and internationally, including trips to NEDAP headquarters in the Netherlands
