About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Run bespoke account-based strategies to penetrate, land, and expand within top-tier global consumer brands, enterprise portfolios, and holding companies
- Drive complex, multi-year commercial agreements with high ACVs across multiple lines of business, subsidiary brands, and global business units
- Build multi-threaded relationships with C-level decision-makers to align Nectar’s AI platform with corporate transformation initiatives
- Develop tailored ROI models, financial business cases, and strategic transformation roadmaps for executive buying committees and boards
- Direct cross-functional deal teams to win and scale priority accounts
- Feed enterprise and market requirements back to Product and Engineering leadership to influence the long-term roadmap
- Represent Nectar at industry summits, executive roundtables, and board-level meetings to expand the company’s footprint
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of B2B SaaS closing experience
- Proven track record of exceeding quota in Strategic / Key Accounts
- Experience managing six- and seven-figure deal sizes
- Experience selling into major consumer platforms across e-commerce, beauty, CPG, retail, or multi-brand conglomerates
- Ability to grow six-figure footholds within multi-brand portfolios into 7-figure partnerships
- Expertise in value-based sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Challenger
- Experience navigating matrixed organizations, global procurement, and complex legal structures
- Ability to pitch, negotiate, and advise C-suite executives and senior leadership teams
- Ability to position software as a strategic growth catalyst
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving startup environment and leverage internal executive sponsors
- Experience selling AI, automation, or social media management platforms at the strategic tier is a bonus
- Founding AE experience or experience building a new market or segment is a bonus
- Pre-existing relationships with C-level marketing, digital, or technology leaders at major global consumer brands are a bonus
- Experience at a high-growth Series A or Series B startup scaling strategic sales motions is a bonus
- Deep familiarity with AI-native tools, workflow automation, and modern social commerce ecosystems is a bonus
- Ability to work in the United States and come to the Palo Alto office 4 days a week
