About the role
- Take ownership of cloud infrastructure from provisioning through to day-to-day operations
- Work closely with our Solutions Architect on significant changes
- Use Infrastructure as Code as the default for everything
- Maintain and improve our setup as the infrastructure evolves
- Keep our CI/CD pipelines fast and reliable
- Investigate and fix issues properly rather than patching around it
- Monitor environments to track performance, uptime, and resource usage
- Respond and troubleshoot any issues that might arise
- Stay curious about industry developments and propose better methods
- Collaborate with wider teams to understand needs and provide DevOps solutions
Requirements
- Several years running cloud infrastructure in production on AWS
- Experience with Azure is a bonus
- Knowledge of Terraform (Teragrunt is a bonus) beyond the basics
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD in a production context
- Ability to write Python or Bash to automate
- Experience with CI/CD (CircleCI is a bonus) at a level where you have created pipelines, not just used them
- Understand the security considerations and have thought about deployment from a risk perspective
