About the role

Take ownership of cloud infrastructure from provisioning through to day-to-day operations
Work closely with our Solutions Architect on significant changes
Use Infrastructure as Code as the default for everything
Maintain and improve our setup as the infrastructure evolves
Keep our CI/CD pipelines fast and reliable
Investigate and fix issues properly rather than patching around it
Monitor environments to track performance, uptime, and resource usage
Respond and troubleshoot any issues that might arise
Stay curious about industry developments and propose better methods
Collaborate with wider teams to understand needs and provide DevOps solutions

Several years running cloud infrastructure in production on AWS
Experience with Azure is a bonus
Knowledge of Terraform (Teragrunt is a bonus) beyond the basics
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD in a production context
Ability to write Python or Bash to automate
Experience with CI/CD (CircleCI is a bonus) at a level where you have created pipelines, not just used them
Understand the security considerations and have thought about deployment from a risk perspective
